TERMS OF REFERENCES
for the categories of members of the League, and member fees
of the IPO ÓInternational League for the Protection of Rights of Ukrainian
CitizensÔ

These Terms of References were developed according to the Statute of the IPO ÓInternational League for the Protection of Rights of Ukrainian CitizensÔ, which was approved by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, ¦ 1599 from March 22, 2001.
1. THE CHARTER
1.1. The membership in the IPO ÓInternational League for the Protection of Rights of Ukrainian CitizensÔ (further referred to as -Óthe LeagueÔ).
1.2. Individual members and member societies can be members of the League.
1.3. Individual members may be Ukrainians, foreign citizens, and persons without citizenship who have reached 16 years of age, and who accept the Statute, take part in the fulfillment of tasks of the League, and pay the member fees.
1.4. Member societies of the League may be labour organizations of the enterprises, institutions, and organizations, which help to fulfill LeagueÒs activities, and pay the member fees.
1.5. Individual members and member societies have equal rights and duties (according to the article 3.1. of the Statute).
1.6. In order to join the League, individual members must file a written application to the Administration Board (according to the article 3.2. of the Statute).
1.7. Joining the League, member societies must file to the Administration Board a resolution of the labour organization council from enterprise, institution, organization, but public organizations must file a resolution of the managing superior body (according to the article 3.3 of the Statute).
1.8. The rate of member fees, payment procedure, and due date will be determined by the Administration Board of the League (according to the article 3.6. of the Statute).
1.9. The sum of the entrance fees and current member fees for the member societies must be summarily added from the number of persons who desire to become members of the League, and stated in the resolutions of councils of the labour societies or in the resolutions of the superior body.
2. THE RATES OF THE ENTRANCE AND CURRENT MEMBER FEES
2.1. According to the decision of the Administration Board from April 12, 2001, the rates of the entrance and current fees for the physical persons have been set as follows:
2.2. Major category Ö Citizens of Ukraine:
Ö pensioners by age, veterans and invalids of the WW II:
entrance member fee Ö 5,00 UAH.;
current member fee Ö 1,00 UAH per month;
- disabled invalids:
entrance member fee Ö 1,00 UAH;
current member fee Ö 0,5 UAH per month.
2.3. General category Ö Citizens of Ukraine, foreign citizens, and persons without citizenship
- Citizens of Ukraine:
entrance member fee Ö 10,00 UAH;
current member fee Ö 1,00 UAH per month.
- persons without citizenship, residents of Ukraine:
entrance member fee Ö 10,00 UAH;
current member fee Ö 1,00 UAH per month.
- foreign citizens, citizens of CIS countries, Baltic countries, and persons without citizenship, residents of these countries:
entrance member fee Ö 10,00 US dollars according to the NBU course at the time of payment.
current member fee - 1,00 US dollars per month according to the NBU course at the time of payment;
- foreign citizens from European, Asian, African, North and South America countries, and persons without citizenship, residents of these countries:
entrance member fee Ö 20,00 US dollars according to the NBU course at the time of payment.
current member fee - 2,00 US dollars per month according to the NBU course at the time of payment;
3. PAYMENT PROCEDURE FOR THE ENTRANCE AND MEMBER FEES
3.1. The entrance and current member fees will be paid once by cash or non-cash form to the current account of the local Agency of the League in the bank.
3.2. In exclusive cases, the entrance and current member fees will be paid to the senior official, responsible for collecting and maintenance of the cash in the local Agency or in the Representative Office of the League.
3.3. The entrance and current member fees will be paid according to the payment procedure, as determined in the article 3.1. of these Terms of References in three days period after decision of the Administration Board for notification of member of the League.
3.4. According to the decision of President or Administration Board, the entrance member fees will be paid in four equal portions, first of which will be paid in three days period after decision of the Administration Board for notification of the candidate; and each following portion Ö quarterly but not later than 15-th day of the month from which the quarter begins.
3.5. The current member fees will be paid before 15-th day of a month.
3.6. According to the decision of President or Administration Board, the entrance and current member fees can be determined in the amount lower then determined in the article 2 of these Terms of References.
3.7. The entrance and current member fees can be paid once at a time for any period.
4. FINAL REGULATIONS
4.1. These Terms of References will enter into force after their approval by the Administration Board.
4.2. Amendments and additions to these Terms of References can be fowarded to the consideration of the Administration Board by members of the League, local Agencies, superior and other bodies of the League, and will enter into force after their approval by the Administration Board.
