International Public Organization ÓInternational League for the Protection of the Rights of Ukrainian CitizensÔ was registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on March 22, 2001, #1599.
IPO ÓInternational League for the Protection of the Rights of Ukrainian CitizensÔ Ö is an international organization for the protection of human rights.
The main purpose of IPO ÓInternational League for the Protection of the Rights of Ukrainian CitizensÔ is integration of citizensÒ efforts for the protection of the Constitutional rights of Ukrainian citizens, foreign citizens, and persons without citizenship that are being under persecution for their political, racial, religious or other motives.
The League facilitates the protection of rights and keeping pertinent legality due to these rights for physical and legal persons.
The League sets following goals:
- to provide legal assistance to Ukrainian citizens, foreign citizens, and persons without citizenship in the sphere of legislation;
- to participate in providing financial support to the extended families, invalids, singles, and senior citizens;
- to facilitate the humanization of the conditions of imprisoning;
- to facilitate the protection of inalienable rights of the servicemen, law-enforcement agencies staff, and their family members;
- to participate in the international actions dedicated to the protection of rights and freedoms of men;
- To participate in dissemination of regulations, stated in the Declaration of Human Rights, Constitution of Ukraine and other states among the population;
- To establish the agencies in all countries of the world.
The League acts according to the Constitution of Ukraine, current legislation, Legislation of Ukraine on ÓUniting of CitizensÔ and LeagueÒs Statute.
The League has international Agencies (Russian Federation, Azerbaijan, Yugoslavia, Holland, and France), agency in AR Crimea, fifteen Regional Centers, and 60 city, district, and village Centers in Ukraine.
There are over 68 thousands of individual members and member societies belong to the League.
The Administration of the League invites you to join the League in order to stand for and protect rights and interests of Ukrainian citizens, foreign citizens, and persons without citizenship.
